The unfinished church is an unforgetable location. The ruin is a point of interest for many who visit Bermuda. Does anyone really know why it was never finished?
St. Peter's Church | SOLD | 24" x 30"
St. Peter's Church is an icon of the Old Town. I have always appreciated the geometric forms of the triangle and the circle in the façade at the top of the main stairs.
Poinciana | SOLD | 24" x 30"
The poinciana is a beautiful tree found all over Bermuda. The flowers can vary in intensity from an orange to a deep red, and are a familiar sight during the summer.

This view was a surprise as I walked around the Old Town trying to find imges for the St. George's show. I like the older chimney in front with its chips and flaws.
Heart of Hibiscus | SOLD | 16" x 20"
This is one of a number of pink hibiscus paintings I have produced. What I appreciate about this one is that it is a focus of the flower alone with no supporting foliage.
Green Shutter | SOLD | 16" x 20"
This shutter was seen at the end of Water Street, and stood out to me as a great example of the flamboyant colour choices Bermudians apply to their buildings.

I have always wanted to represent one of the most fragrant flowers of Bermuda. I particularly like this extremely colourful variety found just outside the perfume factory.

While taking photos of the window for reference, I hadn't noticed the bird's nest in the slats of the shutter. Suddenly he appeared, and I knew he would be in the final image.
